Rock 'n' Roll Telephone [Deluxe] ~ Nazareth

so it is a shame that Dan has had to leave the band during their second peak. The album is full of energy, the kind that would make a lot of younger bands blush. The music is a fine mix between ear numbing heaviness and a few softer songs. If you're going to go out, might as well go out on top.

A fantastic album and a wonderful send off to the bands original frontman.

I am not a fan of that growling American rubbish so to find a cd which has that old school Europian Death Metal sound was a very pleasant surprise. The sound would be familiar to any fans of Immortal, Dimmu Borgir and the other bands of the genre. It's simple, not too many blast beats (thank god) and very well produced.

For a fiver, it is an album well worth having for fans of real death metal.
Resident Evil 4 HD (PC DVD) by Capcom
This is yet another re-release of Resident Evil 4. This one comes in what is an impressively flimsy case and activates on Steam. Though there will be the anti-drm brigade complaining about that, it has it's advantages. The game is frequently getting patched up by a group of developers you can communicate with in the game forum.

It controls quite well with the keyboard and loots very nice and sharp. There is no lack of content so this game should keep you busy for a while.

If you like Resident Evil or weird horror games in general then I would highly recommend this. One of the best games made in the "Old Generation".
