5.0 out of 5 stars Clears things up, 24 Dec 2013
If you have just become interested in Norse mythology it can seem like a mine field of different texts... the Prose Edda, Poetic Edda, Elder Edda... all in their various translations. Who is Snorri Sturluson!?

This book doesn't answer these questions, but it draws from all these sources and creates a doorway in to the Norse myths. The myths are told in simple language and are concise. He has arranged the myths in as linear a way possible. Names begin to become familiar and you get clarity from the confusion.

There are notes on each myth, which again are concise. They give just enough information and don't become overwhelming.

devolo dLAN Highspeed II (HomePlug) Starter Kit - &hellip by Devolo

I bought this product because I was getting a very poor wireless connection and I wanted an easy fix, I wanted the 30mbps download speed I was paying for. In that respect it was a waste of money. I had both devolo adapters plugged in to surge protected socket adapters, and the signal also had to pass through a distribution board. I couldn't even even get 2mbps download speeds. By bypassing the surge protected sockets I managed 7-8mpbs, which was the same as my wireless signal.

I give this product 2 stars because it didn't work for me. To get a signal from one side of a room to the other on the same electrical circuit without surge protectors it way work fine.

I ended… Read more

Firstly let me say that I'm a firm believer in the power of positive energy. Or rather I have faith in Judith Orloffs idea of what energy is and how it effects people. I've felt this positive and negative energy since I can remember even though I have never put a name to it. As such many of the things that she talks about really stuck a cord with my intuition (something Judith Orloff discusses at length).

The book gets off to a good start. She encourages meditation throughout the book. Which is highly advisable. I suggest Mindfulness: A Practical Guide to Finding Peace in a Frantic World (Includes Free CD with GuidedRead more
