After living with this laptop for the last week I can happily say it is nearly superb. I’m finding it very hard to find anything bad to say about it. Lets start with the good.

-Expandability
-Fantastic keyboard
-Snappy CPU
-Plenty of RAM
-Plenty of HDD space
-Nice bright, clear screen
-Comfortable track pad
-Solid build quality
-Good speakers

Now for the not so good.

-Would have preferred a quad core CPU over dual core.
-Battery life is only 2 hours, but you can buy extended battery’s.

Currently I have both Windows 7, and Ubuntu 14.04 loaded onto this machine and both run very well, programs run well on… Read more
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty [DVD] DVD ~ Ben Stiller
This remake of the Danny Kaye 1947 classic is Joy!

Ben Stiller has, over time, pigeonholed himself as "everyman", and appeared in many films full of fart jokes, toilet humour and over the top ridiculous characters. His innate talent was often buried in slapstick humour and I was expecting more of the same. How wrong was I. Mitty is seriously good.

An Unexpected Party was poor. Desolation is worse.

The middle film was always going to be difficult, even with enough source material, however as trilogy is already paper thin, and is little more than a filler to get us to part three, it's a real disappointment.

Even with Legolas thrown into the mix it's a strangely un-engaging piece that sees our 13 dwarves lurching, once again, from one dangerous situation to another, without any real danger. Just like Party, our time with these incompetent dwarves just proves what a useless bunch they are. Thorin Oakenshield leads his party from one avoidable disaster to another with boring regularity and must easily rank as the… Read more
