this was a replacement for a black & decker in which the battery died after years of service. this JCB is cheap in price and the price reflects the nature of the beast. it is too heavy and clumsy to use. badly weighted, it is job just to hold it in the position you want. the battery seems to lose it's go quickly with little use. it struggles to undo tight screws and has no torsion strength adjuster or speed control so you can also very easily screw things in too tightly. the bits also seem fairly poor and get worn and chipped quickly even with a small amount of general home use. it has a very useful built in light which is about the only good thing about it!
