The Expendables [DVD] DVD ~ Sylvester Stallone

I was very excited about this movie when it was first announced, cautious when the trailer appeared, and then shocked when I watched the final thing. It is, without doubt, the worst film that any of them has ever made. When you consider that it stars straight-to-DVD "stars" such as Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li and Eric Roberts, that's a terrifying thought.

2.0 out of 5 stars Useless for the TP Giant Swing Frame, 19 May 2010
This seemed like the perfect thing for our 3 and 5 year olds who had just been given their new TP giant swing frame. However, the rope is just not long enough (even at maximum drop). Our 5 year old, who can get on any normal swing in a park and kick off, can just about get on this swing but then can't start herself off with a kick.

I called TP who were less than helpful ("it depends on how you interpret 'compatible'").

Seat itself seems OK, and might be fine with a lower frame, but pointless for our frame.

This beautiful book did not disappoint.

As it says on the inside sleeve, it's pretty much the story of Unforgiven, but with Wolvie - sorry, Logan - playing Clint Eastwood. There's something delicious about watching someone that you know is the meanest guy on the planet, struggle with being a pacifist. When the inevitable happens, it's hard not to whoop with joy.
