The Forgotten Seamstress by Liz Trenow
The Forgotten Seamstress by Liz Trenow
An enjoyable story. The author brought the quilt to life with her rich descriptions of the fabrics, colours and design. The plot is interesting and goes from Caroline the current owner of the quilt and all her trials and tribulations with love interests, her elderly mother and friends to the past with the quilt maker Maria and tells of her life as an orphan and seamstress initially employed by royalty. The story is a little predictable but still very enjoyable and I look forward to reading more from this author
5.0 out of 5 stars Stack n store, 7 May 2014
Have ordered one of these previously and happy with the product and service so felt happy ordering again. Product arrived earlier than expected in a secure package. Stack and store is a great product for sewers to store all those bobbing without threads getting tangled. Will possibly be ordering again in the future as make great presents too for sewers

As a previous reviewer states not literature but a good read and makes you think about genetic engineering and what the outcomes of it can entail
