I was intrigued to read the latest graphic novels of Ghostbusters, being a fan of the Real Ghostbusters comics and cartoon series as a child. I had bought the cartoon series on Region 1 DVD and it was enjoyable. It was great to start reading this novel when I noticed something odd that reminded me of one of the toys... and then started to notice cameos of the monsters and characters from the cartoon too!

Having read these two short stories, they are a fascinating read as Anthony H always provides. The plot is paced that it sweeps the reader along as a pageturner without feeling rushed. There is a sense of foreboding and menace in his horror works and even if you think you know what will happen, the delivery is compelling and the genius is that Horowitz choice of words are not particularly graphic but suggestive enough for vivid imaginations to fill in the gaps
