4.0 out of 5 stars Biased but Fresh, 25 Dec 2009
I can understand the claim that this book is a biased positive perspective on Europe's outlook, though which book does not have a biased perspective? This was a highly enjoyable read, and although you may not agree will all points of view, they are well worth listening to. The picture of Europe's influence is one of constructive seduction of countries to behave in an orderly and democratic manner.
The 48 Laws Of Power (A Joost Elffers Production) by Robert Greene

Normally I avoid any title with a number in it - e.g 7 steps or 48 laws. This is an entertaining read, and should not be taken as the 'gospel'. Some good examples support some of the laws. I would recommend breezing through the book over 2 cups of coffee one afternoon, and not to spend too much time studying the details.
Succeeding Generations: Realizing the Dream of Fam&hellip by Ivan Lansberg
An amazing pattern in the evolution of families is the creation and subsequent destruction of wealth. This book provides excellent insights into this pattern, and what families can do to mitigate against this. A warm, intimate read that can apply to all cultures / corners of the world.
