AmazonBasics 8-Inch Black Sleeve for iPad Mini / S&hellip by AmazonBasics
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I don't know how much this item will cost (Amazon is not yet showing the price) but since it is part of the Basics range, I can't see that it will be that expensive, I assume probably under 10 and for that price, this is certainly worth it. It is well padded and would no doubt protect your tablet well from scratches and maybe from small drops too. My iPad Mini does not fit into it with the close-fitting standard cover on, so I assume that the idea is that you have either the standard cover OR this sleeve, rather than both which is what I was hoping to have; if you wanted to keep the normal magnetic cover as well, you would have to pop it off every time you slipped your iPad into the… Read more
The Queen Of The Tearling by Erika Johansen
The Queen Of The Tearling by Erika Johansen
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
The novel starts us off right in the heart of the story and events follow each other in rapid succession. We meet our protagonist, Kelsea, who has been brought up in seclusion but who now, at the tender age of 19, finds herself queen of a people known as the Tearling. The pace is fast and not many pages have passed before we have battles, escapes, kidnappings, death, betrayal and so forth, so for anyone wanting a fast-paced book with not too long to wait between action scenes, this is a good choice. The downside of so much action of course, is less emphasis on character and plot; this is not necessarily a bad thing, it all depends on what the reader is looking for. However, I think it is… Read more
Rapesco Supaclip 60 Dispenser with 8 Clips by Rapesco
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I love this little tool. Admittedly, I am a little bit of a stationery nerd (!) so all new and quirky stationery tends to draw my attention and this one is truly useful. It works a bit like a stapler insofar as it fastens sheets of paper together. However, its major advantage over a stapler is that it can easily be unfastened when you no longer want your sheets of paper attached - simply pull it off and use it again. The clips come in a fun range of colours too which makes your documents look pretty; sadly, though, they seem to have discontinued my two favourite colours - pink and purple.
I have deducted a star purely because they do tend to break quite easily after sustained use and I… Read more
