This fantastic book lays down a practical course for achieving any goal you set yourself. Although the title suggests that this is a book about getting rich, it is really more about changing your thoughts, beliefs and habits to obtain whatever you want in life - be it monetary, personal, professional or spiritual. This makes the book even more valuable in my opinion.

Split into a series of simple steps, the focus throughout is on doing things "in an easy and relaxed manner, in a healthy and positive way". This makes the book very easy to read, and also makes the steps much more enjoyable to follow.

Let me begin by saying that this is a truly inspiring and insightful book, and one which will help anyone immeasurably. It is mainly focused on acquiring wealth (hence the title), but the principles can be applied to achieving any goal. Despite being written over 70 years ago, the content is just as relevant and useful today, and easily deserves the full five stars.

With that said, this is a very poor version of the book. The content appears to be complete and original, but it is riddled with spelling mistakes and typographical errors, and I've even found a couple of places where entire paragraphs have somehow found themselves transplanted into the middle of other paragraphs,… Read more

I felt compelled to write this review after reading the luke-warm reception it has received from the other reviewers, which I think is completely unjustified.

As a PHP developer by trade I have a pretty good grasp of procedural coding, but OOP has been gaining more and more momentum in the PHP community and I felt I couldn't ignore it any longer.

This book was an absolutely perfect introduction to the concept, and quickly taught me all the ins and outs of creating classes and objects in an easy-to-follow, jargon-free way.
