Hands down the best book I've read this year. Don't be fooled or put off by the fact that this book was written in the 1940's, it could have been written next week it's so relevant today. Strangely un-depressing, hilarious in parts, absolutely spot on true almost in every line. If you read this going Yes! So true! etc. you'll know you're still alive. Top notch Every school should be teaching this, every University class discussing it. Read it yourself and see why.

Although Thus Spoke Zarathustra usually steals the limelight, this work, taken as one volume, could well be his very best. With sharp, sparkling metaphors and the brilliant style you come to expect from Nietzsche, he takes aim at the usual list of suspects including Christians and Philosophers. Magnificent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sublime, 5 Jan 2009
One of the most beautiful poems ever written. A homage to death. The imagery is sublime, you think you've read the best then along comes this. Simply a must read for fans of poetry.
