5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!, 11 Mar 2014
I was really worried about the premise of this installment in Mercy's tale! It was great, I've just read it right through to the very end and I loved it! More Mercy, please! (Now I need to go eat my supper because I was so involved I forgot to eat)

5.0 out of 5 stars More from Merrily!, 14 Dec 2013
I struggle with Merrily sometimes because although the books are uniformly excellent, well written, amazingly researched, I sometimes feel overwhelmed by the darkness! Detective fiction, it may be but it is also character rich and involving - and it was a delight to meet Betty and Robin again. Phil Rickman and Merrily should be better known - the series is amazing, even the local landscape takes on a life of its own! Really highly recommend this gripping book.
The Glass God (Magicals Anonymous) by Kate Griffin

A series of strange disappearances? Ancient Spirits of London running amok? People dying from the Black Death? With the consciousness of London's Midnight Mayor going missing, it's up to Sharon to use her shaman powers and creed of positive thinking to save the city from the forces of darkness. Kate Griffin has written another great book! Really enjoyable and an exciting read.
