Remote: Office Not Required by Jason Fried
A great book that makes you think about your managers in a whole new light, and not a particularly bright one. My commute is only 40 minutes each way, but at least it gives the managers the chance to manage me. I probably do less than I would if I was at home working, but hey-ho, they get to see me. Despite the fantastic content of the book, including giving you answers to all of the excuses that managers come out with, I am going to be tied to my desk until I retire. Such is life in the public sector!
Pocket Road Bike Maintenance by Guy Andrews
All the expertise that you need in a book. Excellent pictures and explanation on how to take on those tasks that seem mysterious at the moment. The ring bound style of this book makes it so easy to use. Why can't more publishers use the ring bound layout?

Really well written and enjoyable book. Sadly I don't know Ireland that well so most of the place names I didn't recognise, but still a good read nonetheless. In my 50s and overweight, this book had a lot of resonance for me.
