KDP Select FREE DAYS: A Guide to KDP Free Promo - &hellip by Kim Hornsby
I downloaded this when it was on free promotion, proof that the author's strategies work! I'm becoming quite an experienced free promo promoter myself but you never stop learning and Kim Hornsby has obviously done her research and put a lot of thought into this book. Written in an engaging style, it's very easy to read.

Another thing I like is that the author is not one of those who says "My way is the only way", she just describes her methods and gives clear reasons why she thinks they work for her. The rest is up to you, but I can say I've used a lot of the promo sites in this guide and they do work. I'll try some of the other suggestions for my next promotion,… Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Very funny book!, 23 Feb 2014
This was a great find. I read it almost in one sitting, needed to keep finding out what would happen to dear, innocent, Foggy next! There are some wonderful characters: an unfortunate hero, a nymphomaniac mother, a Granny who stuffs sausage rolls up her sleeves.....! There are many laugh out loud moments, if you don't know what "speed-mincing" is you really need to read this.. One thing's for sure, I won't be applying for a job in a call centre because I suspect that some of the goings on are rather near to the truth! Very quirky, very entertaining and highly recommended.

I loved this book. I've seen the film Legend of the Guardians but this is the first Guardians book I've read. The book takes the reader on a journey into the world of owls and the life of the legendary Lyze of Kiel. The characters are credible and so is the story, which is a remarkable feat of writing considering the cast is made up completely of owls and snakes with the odd snow leopard here and there.

I've had quite a lot of experience with owls, I've had a life long fascination with them and currently own two, so I can say with confidence that the author has a great deal of knowledge of these wonderful birds and builds this into the story very well. A well written,… Read more
