I've been an avid reader of this book for 2 years now. I don't have it but I regularly take it from the library and read it cover to cover.
It's a very good book on football tactics (or rather the evolution of football tactics since the 1800's). For that, the tactics of a number of classic football teams (England 1966, Brazil 1970, Hungary 1953, Inter, Milan AC...) are analysed thoroughly.
What is nice is that Andy Gray, the author, is a past pro-footballer and that shows. He really knows his football inside out. I also like the general humour of the book.
I have one recommendation: buy it !
