Having read this book it was fascinating history and I was enthralled at its content. It is a piece of social history that was not known until the book was published. There are some very interesting stories about those who survived not only the war years but also their experiences of the orphanages. It is noted that the universities are taking an interest in the book. A great book about the survival of a forgoten generation. Good value for money.
