The Assassin and the Empire (Throne of Glass) by Sarah J. Maas
5.0 out of 5 stars 9 months ago, 18 Sep 2013
Sarah Maas gives us hope and the takes it away. Celaena is amazing and her reaction to everything feels so real. This brings us up to date with the beginning of Throne of Glass and explains who Celaena is.
The Assassin and the Underworld (Throne of Glass) by Sarah J. Maas
Returning to the world of Rifthold we slowly start to see Celaena use the information she has learn in '... and the desert' and to re-examine her current relationships and views leading to a complete break from those she thought of as her family.

Again excellent world building and vivid story telling.
