Philips DVP3111/05 DVD Player by Philips
1.0 out of 5 stars Unreliable, 16 Aug 2014
I guess you get what you pay for. Its been 3 years since I bought this and since we all have computers and laptops in the house it gets used very rarely. When it does we can't used the remote without standing right beside it so its pretty much useless, it plays dvds sporadically and doesn't like it when we skip through chapters. And yet it sits beside my vhs player which is probably around 13 years old. I wouldn't recommend this one, it may have been ok for the first couple of months but after that its pretty abysmal. I thought Phillips would be better than this.

1.0 out of 5 stars Scented, 20 Mar 2014
Why do they not say on the packet that they are scented? 'Freshlock' is Lillets term for scented 'actifresh' is Always term for scented, and where the companies deny the use of perfume it does not take away the fact that these do have an odor. It makes them uncomfortable to use (they sting), and the scent actually triggers my asthma. I would recommend these products are labelled 'scented'.

Firstly there's the american keyboard settings. Doesn't bother you to start with but as soon as you hit the symbols you realize " is an @ and @ is an ". Which is annoying.

Go to your regional keyboard settings and change them to US. Then open the MB program your " keys should now read " instead of @. Close MB. Go back into your regional settings then change them back to the UK (you don't want them on US all the time it will bug you). For some reason when you open up the MB program it still registers the US settings so the keys are still correct for typing… Read more
