No pulse because the heart is missing, in the sense that you don't really care for the characters or see the arc as they develop. Whatever you might think of Clash of the Titans (COTT) they at least attempted that. There is no tension and scenes pale in comparison to other films - LOTR: Helms Deep compared to the Great Wall here just one of many you can make. Mickey Rourke hams it while trying to be quietly menacing failing where Stellan Skarsgård prevails in "King Arthur" as Cerdic.

Pains me to say this as I loved him in "The Tudors" but Henry Cavill's performance is mainly done by his physique. He is not given a script, or the time , to show an emotional performance. It does… Read more

Just note that I have wached several times my box sets of series one to three. Must buys.

The final series sets the mortal decline of Henry the Eighth in an atmosphere so dark at times that they forget the gaiety with which they romped through the Tudor history in the previous three that made me tune in each week. The intrigue is not played out over episodes in the same high stakes (I'm thinking religious especially), the chemistry of the actors is frizzled by a script that lacks the poetic drama of the past. Even the muscial score cannot quite save this. it is easily the worst. At one point you may be forgiven for thinking you have fallen through a worm hole as Henry suddenly… Read more
