5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant., 6 Aug 2013
I loved this book. As with all Marika Cobbold's work it's witty, engaging, beautifuly written and yet is so much more than "a good read". I felt I knew all the characters intimately - even Coco the Clown, who frankly is a creation of genius - and the story is actually a well-crafted treatise on relationships in the early 21st Century, and a woman's places within them. I have bought many copies of this book to give as presents to friends, and have recommended it to many others. I don't know anyone who hasn't loved it.

Not only would I recommend this book as a must-read (or listen) for anyone who has ever suffered from depression, or shared their lfe is some form with a… Read more
