Joseph Joseph Rocker Garlic Crusher - Green by Joseph Joseph

This product does not so much crush garlic as beat it into submission.
The cutting edges simply aren't man enough for the job. It makes the whole process hard work, and it doesn't do anything that a good flat hefty bash on the flat side of a a knife-blade can't.. Aesthetically pleasing, it may be, fun gadget to look at, perhaps...
Useful? Up for the job and fit for purpose? It ain't.

Waste of money.

The division between one marking and the next is also so minimal, it's really hard to get an accurate level.

The pin with which to prick the eggs, is - pardon the pun - pointless.
You'd be much better just piercing BOTH ends of the eggs with the tip of a sharp knife, than trying to use the integral pin on the egg-holder.

Make sure your eggs are at room temperature too. if you use eggs direct from the fridge, they're too cold, and they… Read more
