5.0 out of 5 stars The Spirit Of 77, 22 Oct 2008
I bought this album on the recommendation of a friend and haven't stopped listening to it since. Short, punchy songs that could have easily been written during the punk era. The girls play and sing this like they really mean it!! It's like an album that Courtney Love wished she had made! But these girls are British!! Great album. Great attitude. Give it a try. You won't regret it!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Litas best !, 22 May 2008
Lita Fords best album by a mile. A much more mature set of songs with some excellent playing by all the musicians. Don't be put off by earlier Miss Ford albums. This is not 80s hair rock. My particular favourite is "Killin Kind" but every track is a good one. Go on, give it a shot, you will be suprized

4.0 out of 5 stars Where it all began !, 18 Nov 2007
If it wasn't for this band we wouldn't have Motorhead , The Damned and many other bands who have cited MC5 as influences. Their attitude to music and Life still shines through. I'm not saying this album is perfect because it's not, but in 1969 it must've been a breath of fresh air. Their influence will live forever. Thank goodness for musicians that break down the barriers and kick the rest of them up the behind and this is exactly what this did !! Highpoints are the title track obviously, Ramblin Rose and Motor City Is Burning. Go on buy yourself some history, and KOTJMF !
