The Secret Race: Inside the Hidden World of the To&hellip by Tyler Hamilton
5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant read., 19 Jan 2013
This is truly one of those books that you cannot put down. Simply riveting stuff. Hamilton reveals in tremendous detail how they beat the system and shows cycling to be the dirtiest sport in the world. Highly recommended reading!
Run, Swim, Throw, Cheat: The science behind drugs &hellip by Chris Cooper

As someone who is researching performance-enhancing drugs in sport, I found this book very interesting and will use it in the future as a reference tool. It is, without doubt, quite complicated, but certainly worth reading through the heavy science parts. I do not come from a science background, but I did want to know some of the scientific details on how testing is done, how drugs work etc. This book worked well for me in that regard.
Mama's Boy: Lennox Lewis and the Heavyweight Crown by Gavin Evans
5.0 out of 5 stars Top biography!, 6 Jan 2013
This is an excellent and comprehensive look at one of the greatest heavyweight champions of all time, certainly one of the top 3 British fighters in history. There are interviews with all the major players in Lewis' career, including the man himself, as well as descriptions of the big fights he was involved in. I grew up as a youngster a fan of Lewis and reading the fight details took me back to when I stayed up all night to follow one of his fights in the United States. There is also interesting stuff on Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, Don King and others. Highly recommended.
