Thank you Dave and Achak for sharing this bewildering story with such grace and warmth. I only wish, Achak, that you never had to endure any of these unimaginably depraved, cruel and heartbreaking experiences that you tell us of. The more eyes that are opened - hopefully the wiser watching we will be capable of!!!!

I have the great musical masters lined up in my itunes, ready to go, and yet I find I select the Bonfire Band to sing to me just as often as I chose them. I find I have that same feeling of pleasure and awe at the truths told and imagery offered forward. The lyrics get me thinking and seem new and refreshing. The music and harmonies only add to their easy command. I just wish I had better speakers and that the CD would last longer with more songs......but this is all just my opinion.....I think I am going to go and listen to this CD right now....

Here are a few of my thoughts on Reason For Hope in case you are deciding on whether to purchase this book or not.

A friend of mine lent me her copy of this book and when she did this I had no idea what kind of effect it would have on me. I was not familiar with Jane's work or the National Geographic series that she is well known for. I only knew that she had worked with Chimpanzees and I knew nothing about her internal world and fascinating and important life story. My friend had mentioned that it was an autobiographical story and that it was beautiful in many ways. It really is just this.
