3.0 out of 5 stars & the winner, 17 July 2014
This is a fascinating account of the selection, lives, actions, motivations and interrelationships of one year's winners of the Nobel prize. It reads as though every fact has been thoroughly researched (as the author indeed says it was, in his addendum). The end is satisfying and indeed happy and most readers will not realise that the work was completed more than fifty years ago.

Its only disadvantage is that it goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on.........
