Beginners Yoga and Beyond: Elements of Yoga: Earth&hellip DVD ~ Tara Lee
3.0 out of 5 stars Its OK, 20 Mar 2014
The yoga here uses gentle flow exercises - but do be careful if you've a bad back - if you are careful it will be fine but there are a few twists. the three sections are based on feeling grounded (earth). However it is also a little repetitive and slightly boring. However Tara is very likeable and the setting is nice. I'll use this again but possibly only use one or two sections as it is hard to keep motivated here. DVD has a few extras and an informative interview with Tara. I'm glad I've purchased it though as the first section did make me feel more focused and less stressed.
Spine Chillers (BBC Audio) by M. R. James
Hmm I kind of liked the first story, but used it in the car to entertain on long journeys and apart from some sparkly breaking glass sounds in between the stories they all kind of blend in together - I was getting confused until my passenger said we were actually on about the 5th different story. I've listened since and this time was able to follow the subtle noises to signal a new chapter. The stories are acted too - a bit like a bad Radio 4 play. I would prefer to have a story teller rather than actors. Not bad if its cheap - but otherwise don't bother.

You can see what is coming a mile off in this book. A little sexist too I thought. Not quite believable in parts - but I still read it to the end!
