Mine arrived very promptly and I've been very happy with it. The hood is a reasonable size (I hate the ones that don't even reach your browline) and has elastic drawstrings so you can bring it tight to the face if it's really windy. It can also be folded up and tucked neatly in the pouch on the back of the neck and on the inside has some pretty purple meshing. The jacket as a whole hasn't let in any rain so far and I have had compliments on it from others. I was worried when it arrived that it was too flimsy and wouldn't really hold the wind/rain off but it's been great. Haven't tried packing it up small yet but get the feeling it would take up very little space.
They are pretty peppery so I wouldn't advise going for them if you're not into that. They're nice with a mild dip to take the edge off but not the kind of thing you can settle down with in front of the TV as partway through the pack in your mouth will be on fire. I've never tasted real life haggis so can't judge if they're true to flavour, but I enjoyed them as a one-off & something different.
I'm quite fond of mine and so it's seen a fair bit of wear and does have a few loose threads, but given the price I'm happy with how it's holding up so far. It was warmer than I assumed it would be (in the picture it looks slightly thinner than it is) and I've trotted it out for both work and lazing around the house. Happy!
