The picture pf the pop-up makes it look a little plain, BUT IT REALLY IS QUITE AN AMAZING CALENDAR. Every year I try to find advent calendars for my 3 girls (14, 11, 3) that are a little different to the flat boring picture calendars...and this year I hit the jackpot with this calendar for my older 2....they ABSOLUTELY loved/LOVE them. You have to have surface space to put the calendar on as it opens flat and cannot be hung....but it has been a conversation piece with all their friends.
