In My Own Words:
If it seems like I give 5 stars out very often, it's because I spend lots of time trying to find the perfect product BEFORE I buy it, hence I end up with what I wanted.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not 18/10, 18 April 2012
Even the cardboard they come attached to says 18/10, but the spoons themselves say 18/8 and I have to believe that over the packaging.

Only 1 star deducted for relatively minor... lie.

5.0 out of 5 stars A real jug, 19 Mar 2012
I've hit this against the side of my tempered glass desk whilst trying to get it on the shelf far more times than I can remember. Neither has shown weakness so far.

I found out recently you can put them on the hob, so I tried that. Took forever to heat my milk, but it's nice to know it can do that if necessary.

The handle is great, and it feels safe to carry when full and wet.

Edit: One reviewer (or more) mentions it pours badly. I hated it when I first got it but I was pouring way too fast. It could definitely be improved, but provided you pour slowly and steadily I don't think it should be dribbling everywhere unless you have a defective one or a dodgy… Read more
Pyrex Dry Measure Jug, 500ml by Pyrex

2.0 out of 5 stars Odd measurements, 19 Mar 2012
As I type this review I see it's called a dry measure jug. When I bought it I noticed "Pyrex", "measure" and "500ml" and didn't look any closer than that. Well other than being 500ml and having a spout it's not really what I needed. I have no wish to measure sugar or flour in a beaker and the liquid measurements give me a choice between 1/4L, 1/3L and 1/2L and 1 and 2 "dls" which I haven't Googled yet. There is also a line which has no markings whatsoever.

The beaker is very light/thin and if it fell on its side it would probably shatter. I absolutely HATE the weight of it. I worry about it breaking in my hand when I'm cleaning it.
