Oh my god! This was still happening in the 1990's! How could we be so ignorant, so naive! This book is heart rending at the best of times, but it needs to be told. From the moment i started reading this book i was in amazment. How? Why? Kathy went through so much. What happened to Social services, protecting children, women? Its unbelieveable! Kathy went through so much and still came out to tell the story but yet still whats been done? Nothing. A few apologies, that says it all. What is the goverment trying to hide? Did they know what was going on all along? or did they think if they burried their heads in the sand it would go away? Really, i ask my self? This read is a must! I truly feel… Read more

Poor Toni! From the moment i started reading this book i knew it would tug at my heart strings. Why? I just cant under stand why! Why a child should have to endure any unprotected childhood. Toni is such a strong person and i am so glad she beat her demons. This book i found hard to read in parts but i felt i had to carry on for Toni! Toni is a pure inspiration and the more people who have been abused that speak up, i feel we are helping the future generations to prevent abuse. So that they realise it is not their fault. Its all down to the sick, perverse individuals who try to manipulate the young. We should be able to speak out and tell our stories. Well done Toni, i cant wait for your… Read more

This book, i can say with my hand on my heart is the best book I've read for a long time. I though loved ones are supposed to protect and love their young. Well, not for Stuart. What happened to looking after your children? I think Stuart is very brave for telling his story and i strongly believe Stuart's dad got all he deserved! This book is an amazing read and an inspiration to all. I recommend this book from the bottom of my heart. x
