LEGO Star Wars 75023: Advent Calendar by LEGO
5.0 out of 5 stars Such a good idea, 3 Jan 2014
What do you get for your 6 year old son who likes Star Wars minifigures, but is not keen on building Lego? This calendar was a great present in the build up to Christmas. There are 24 models, about half are minifigures of some sort, the rest are very easy to put together battle ships. Every day was like Christmas day, before going to school. We got the Lego City calendar for our other son (v good too). On Dec 25 each child only got one present and some books. Everyone was happy.
Brick City: LEGOŽ for Grown Ups by Warren Elsmore
5.0 out of 5 stars So inspirational, 3 Jan 2014
We bought this book in preparation to see an exhibition of Warren Elsmore's models in London. The models are beautiful to see personally and the best thing about this book is that it describes how to build some of them. Very inspirational for our 9 year old son who is a Lego fan. I loved the book too.
Kinect Nat Geo TV (Xbox 360) by Microsoft

Our 9 year old boy loves animals and nature documentaries. This game is informative and allows him to "transform" into each animal and follow its behavior. For example, in the Grizzly Bear documentary, there are sessions where you become a bear and look for food, chase away hornets, etc. It's fun and funny to watch him be a bear.
