In My Own Words:
A graduate and former research assistant, my brief career at university was cut short by illness, I have not worked since. I keep occupied rather than vegetate and consider myself (although disabled) quite knowledgeable of the ways of the World in so much as I experience being alive.

Interests
I am generally interested in science, mathematics, philosophy and psychology. Reading in the humanities is a preoccupation of mine. Walking and collecting anything of interest so my house is full of little items of this and that. I dream of being an … Read more

Inner Experience and Neuroscience: Merging Both Pe&hellip by Donald D. Price
5.0 out of 5 stars A Useful Overview, 26 July 2014
Having learned my psychology at home , more or less at random, I found that this work, which is well written and orderly in its presentation and easy in style, helped me to order, arrange and interpret what I have learnt to date. A very useful volume.

Five stars - because the book served as astimulating review and filled up the gaps for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Useful Reference for Me, 10 April 2014
I am not a neuroscientist but, nevertheless, I felt that I found a way into a subject that interests me. This is not a book for an amateur such as myself, but there was much interest in the content. Having a background in biochemistry I was not entirely lost. The coverage of the subjects provided a useful backdrop to my more general reading in neurophilosophy so I was not at all disappointed at my purchase.

Four stars - why ? - because it provided me with a serviceable addition to my knowledge, stimulated further enquiry on my part and will be a useful reference volume in the future.
