The Long Mars: (Long Earth 3) by Terry Pratchett
The Long Mars: (Long Earth 3) by Terry Pratchett
4.0 out of 5 stars What's next?, 11 July 2014
I thoroughly enjoyed the third in the series but did find it a tad disjointed. The long Mars journey & the consequences of it seemed to have been missed, maybe for the next book!!

What of the lost crew, where are they? Is this another area for the next book?

The book us well paced & has many interesting qualities which will make the reader think about life, evolution & our role in it.
Fighting Spirit: The Autobiography of Fernando Ric&hellip by Fernando Ricksen
Brilliant read very honest & truthful & extremely open about all his errors on & off the pitch.
Long may you live Fernando, keep up the 'Fighting Spirit'.
Vicious Circle (Hector Cross Novels) by Wilbur Smith
3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, 10 Dec 2013

At times it feels like the book is written in Victorian times & some of the dialogue is cringeworthy; something I don't associate with one of his books.

I'm not sure now if I'll bother with the next book if this character reappears which is a shame.

Please move away from this Downton Abbey like modern world and get back to the gritty realistic… Read more
