Splendid (Blue Elephant) Self Inking Teachers Rewa&hellip by Xclamations
5.0 out of 5 stars Blue Elephant performs, 28 Nov 2013
Not being a Self Inking Teacher, I may not be the ideal customer for this product, but I am applying the stamp to envelopes sent to Especially Deserving Friends, who will appreciate it. Good clear image, requiring very little pressure.
German Panzers 1914-18 (New Vanguard 127) by Steven J. Zaloga
3.0 out of 5 stars With reservations, 7 Jun 2013
As with so many of the Osprey series, there have to be some reservations regarding the accuracy of the content, and in this case it is the illustrator who has deviated from good practice, and allowed himself to be misled when trying to use identifiable photographic sources. Illustration "F", which is captioned as showing "Beutepanzer 2", was not at Fort de la Pompelle onJune 1st 1918, having been put out of action on May 27th, during the battle at the Chemin des Dames. In trying to reconstruct the appearance of this tank, the illustrator has inexplicably ignored the evidence, and misunderstood the structure of the additions.

Canons De La Victoire (Les Materiels de L'Armee Fr&hellip by Francois Vauvillier
4.0 out of 5 stars Fine reference, 1 Jun 2013
On a subject which has received little attention, it is a pleasure to have this volume and others in the series.
As there is no English translation, it is worth careful reading to gain from an authoritative text written by an expert. Well illustrated from contemporary sources, it repays careful study.

Although scale drawings do not appear here, the same writer has provided further material elsewhere. (See issues of GBM.)

A useful reference, particularly for the specialist and model maker.
