I saw this story in a newspaper a few years ago but skipped it because of the dense copy and lack of pictures. A big mistake as in a picture book format the story really works. It's ideal for kids of 8-9 and above and is set during the Xmas day truce in WWI.

It's a lovely under-stated story that captures the movement of time as it flows back and forth between the events of almost a 100 years ago and the legacy left today. 1.0 out of 5 stars A waste of print, 2 July 2009
Found this book next to useless. For one thing it was American which I immediately found irritating. As a result it was immediately less relevant to the UK market and legislations, tax etc.

It was too generic, bland and basically patronising. The FT book for business start-ups is much better.

Having bought a couple of books on startinig a business, I either found them too basic and patronising, too American or simply not helpful but this book is excellent. It gives lots of highly useful advice especially on finance, tax and how to approach taking an income and the tax implications. As it's updated annually it's very up to date and has proven invaluable to me. If nothing else, it will help you ask the right questions and point you in all the right directions. Overall, the best book of its kind.
