I love when those Amazon recommendations you get at the foot of a book listing actually send you to something worthwhile. It doesn't always (often) happen but.... Anyway I found this book after picking up a mention from Who's Driving the Bus? Leadership and Management in a Few Easy Steps so nothing about becoming a bus driver. That took me to The One Minute Manager and then on to this title.
Leadership and the One Minute Manager is different from Who's Driving the Bus but both are worth reading. I would have given this book five stars but as I'd given Sue Gee's book five I decided Ken Blanchard only deserved four as I preferred her style and the great illustrations.
I'd sort of heard of this book but it wasn't until I found a mention of it on the back of Sue Gee's "Who's Driving the Bus" (a first class introduction to leadership and management) that I decided I should have a look. And I liked what I saw. It is easy to read and entertaining. I'm going to have a look at Leadership and the One Minute Manager next.
I was looking for an introduction to leadership and management and a friend lent me a copy of this book. Unfortunately it is pitched at too high a level though I'm sure it would be good for someone at a more senior level. I did read quite a lot of it and found it of interest but not relevant to my present needs. I had a look for something at the right level and found Who's Driving the Bus? : Leadership & Management in a Few Easy Steps by Sue Gee which I found very well written, informative and entertaining.
