In My Own Words:
I am lucky enough to have a beach hut in the Summer months and I spend a ridiculous amount of time there. I love cooking simple, tasty food for my family often down the hut or carefully transported to it. There is nothing better than a feast by the sea with the odd cocktail or two thrown in. For me: itís as good as it gets.

Whenever I scroll down the TV guide and if I find there's a Barefoot Contessa programme on; I'm in. I love her relaxed tone to her cooking which puts you at easy whenever you watch it (she's come a long way from her early programmes and I like that). You know when are going to enjoy a cookbook when the first recipe is a cocktail! I'm… Read more

The Camera Never Lies: A Laugh Out Loud Tale of Li&hellip by Tess Daly

Britt Baxter or is this Tess Daly in disguise? Hmmm? In fact I was trying to guess who all the characters in the book really were. Tess has alluded she has drawn from her own experiences. This made me want to read on and although, I was a little sceptical about the book at first and thought it may have been ghost written - well it certainly was a cosy girly ready indeed. I like a book that makes me visualise the settings and what people are wearing etc. This book did that and some.

I am not sure about the main character, Britt's boyfriend Alex; I wanted to scream at him and then her for putting up with his sulks. However, I suppose this character and her relationship with… Read more
