In 2004, I had to literally drop everything and fly out to Cyprus and I was not particularly looking forward to my trip. I had memories of Cyprus seeing British Soldiers having a gun shoved into the back their head and having their head blasted into pieces in crowded shopping areas. The people around then claiming not to have seen anything. Terribly myopic people then and now. I recall how in th early 1970's I had seen a village surrounded and the people murdered by armed men - some of whom were in uniform yet now that massacre never happened. Strange that the units MO signed lots of death certificates! One young woman had been clearly raped and her attackers had mutilated her body. There… Read more

My wife and I bought our first motorhome last year and our daughter purchased the book for us thinking it would be informative. I opened it at about 10:30 am on Christmas morning and by 12:00 I had read it. I have read better fiction! It covered the perils of borrowing, driving and owning a motor home in the first two chapters, the rest of the book concerns their overland journey to Crete to their recently purchased villa and what thy did when they got there. No tips about life in a motorhome, no advice, nothing.

I also have another gripe: it is badly written, the "English" is not the "English" I learnt but that used by our trans-Atlantic cousins, the punctuation is even worse… Read more
NEW Rufus Roo: The BIG POCKET Travel Jacket in BLU&hellip Rufus Roo

This jacket is incredible. No matter what airline you travel with you can carry almost everything - hold luggage, plus overhead locker plus jacket. So you can carry a lot. I use it to beat the "Overhead luggage limit is 5kg" - my laptop weighs 2 kg, add my camera 1 kg and the case 3 kg it becomes overweight! So now I put my laptop in the jacket plus a lot of other stuff and still take my hold allowance plus my overhead bag. So beat the airlines with this jacket.
