Culinario Frying Pan 24 cm Red EcoLon Ceramic Coat&hellip by Vidcom Hausrat GmbH
5.0 out of 5 stars Pan to beat all, 22 Dec 2013
Very pleased with this pan. Noted that there have been comments on ceramic pans that the were too light or became discoloured. This model is a good weight and no problem with discolouration. I wonder if the latter problem is due to using to higher heat and I have never used it for very hot deep frying. It has proved ideal for the type of cooking I do and the non-stick lining is the best I have met. I would never be without it and am buying on for my sister-in-law.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bloom's Dublin, 15 Dec 2013
To enjoy the DVD to the full it helps a great deal if you have read the book and know Dublin and its environs, for instance when the sign for the forty foot appears with a nude swimmer it helps to know that this is an area set aside for male nude bathing. It also adds to the interest if you can recognise the various sites as they appear. Having read the book and spending six happy years of my youth at college in Dublin I enjoyed this film very much but can see how anyone coming to it with no background knowledge might find it confusing.

I considered this book very entertaining as it not only dealt with his adventures as a U-boat first lieutenant and captain but covered his time as a cadet. One also gets a feeling of the political thoughts of the time and his meetings with historical characters such as Bornmann and Eva Braun. The photographs are printed on the relevant pages and not grouped together in the centre of the book which saves having to flick back and forth to correlate them with the text. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the U-boat war as an informative and enjoyable read.
