A Lasting Peace Through the Federation of Europe a&hellip by Jean Jacques Rousseau
Pretty terrible copy.

What is important to understand is that this is a direct copy of a 1917 translation of Rousseau's essays; A Lasting Peace Through the Federation of Europe and The State of War. It also has an introduction by Vaughan (1917), which is insightful and enjoyable. However, beyond the original text that is it, no bells, no whistles. No glossary, publishing info or contemporary introduction explaining when/why the translation was produced. The original translation was produced in 1917, the heart of WWI and near the birth of the League of Nations. That in itself would have made for an interesting contemporary intro.
