I was undecided between the black and white... until I saw that I might have to wait 1-3 months for the black. My Lumia 920 is black, so figured white one was a good option - as could see easily if that's where my phone was.
You can pair the device with NFC or manually with bluetooth.
Love the sound quality of the JBL. You can control your music from the phone and/or the device. The volume up, down and track before, play/pause, track after buttons are lighted up (in front of where your phone sits on top of the JBL) similarly to the landing lights (showing approx position of where your phone should be for charging). These boxes were great when moving our small office to a new location.
The size IS XLarge, so could not be filled totally full with heavy stuff (paper and such like). Men used to moving these kind of boxes seemed to carry them with ease, but they were a bit too heavy (sometimes) and sizeable for me on my own when really full.
My reason for "only" 4 stars is that one handle broke/tore (towards the top of the box) approx 10-15cm, but I don't know why... whether I had filled that box too much or if it was handled with less care, but otherwise no problems at all.

Thought changing/moving offices might be complicated (for someone who knows something, but is no means even close to knowing enough about networking) as needed to purchase a router, but not with the E3000.
After using a shared line (and a switch), we now had a dedicated line and had to connect PC, printer (both not Wi-Fi), couple visiting laptops, a smart phone, etc...
I needn't have stressed/worried about it as it was all so simple, straight-forward and easy-piecy with this product!
Just inserted the disc that came with the router (and 1 network cable) and it told you everything very clearly.
Couldn't be happier! :)
