Galt Horrible Science Slimy Slugs by Galt America

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of Money, 29 Dec 2012
The box looks great. Fantastic I thought - My daughter has a thing for slugs she will love this. However the kit contains 2 pots of unrelated slime. Some slug moulds and some eyes.
Oh an a list of other things you have to provide. So off you go... to the shops to buy PVA glue, food colouring, a straw, cornflour - Basically everything you need to make the actual slug.
Pathetic - how can anyone market this as a slug making kit, when you have to buy most of the ingredients yourself.

Son't bother buying, just download the instructions from the Galt website and buy the stuff.

Oh and the mould don't work. You end up with three things that look like dog turds.

1.0 out of 5 stars Makes my son cry., 27 May 2012
I bought this toy for my 4 year old sone as he quite likes the thought of the olympics.
As soon as I presented it it to him he started to cry and scream.

I have to admit, it is rather sinister.

This books was bought for me as a gift and has nestled quietly in our downstairs loo for weeks. It really came into its own the other day when I ran out of toilet paper. Arrow Books really have gone for paper with extra absorbency.
