This music is a wonderful example of great young musicians being able to respect the roots of traditional music yet give it a uniquely modern twist. This item is a joy to listen to and the guys also write lovely original music.

Brilliant little song; pure nostalgia! This is one of the most memorable songs from those great concerts when the unlikely, and inspired, partnership of Billy Connolly and Gerry Rafferty made up the Humblebums. Almost certainly a young and previously unknown Gerry wrote (at least most of)this and it shows the spark of genius that would go on to write multi million selling, Grammy winning, music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unexpected!, 14 Oct 2011
This is a very soft, sensitive, great little song that is credited to Billy Connolly on the CD. I'd have sworn that it was actually written by Gerry Rafferty. I saw the brilliant Humblebums in the old folk club days and my memory must be playing tricks.
