As a new writer I found this a very comprehensive listing of agencies, book publishers and magazine publishers. Offering good advice on what and how to submit. A must for any writers business toolbox.

I came across this book during my own quest for improved self-confidence and self esteem. My first impressions where that this book is a, short and b, written in simple terms that are easy to read (no long winded psycho babble to be found in these pages). Beyond that the techniques described are very easy to apply and even better actually work, I have put several of the techniques into practice over the last week and already my confidence has improved to the point where I can now sit and write this review, not something I would have readily done even as recently as last week.

All in all this a fantastic resource for anybody undertaking study of an Arts subject. The book can be read through from cover to cover or dipped in and out of as needed. It is clearly laid out with hints and tips highlighted and each subject well indexed. Guides on essay writing, study skills, note taking, intelligent reading and numerous other subjects not least of which using technology to assist your studies. This guide covers it all. Written in simple easy to understand language this book will be a continual support for the beginner student or an experienced hand. You'll find yourself referring to it time and again.
