Just when super-camera phones like the Nokia 808 Pureview and Samsung's Galaxy camera were threatening to render point-and-shoots obsolete , along came the Sony RX100.....
The previous reviews are all bang on, this camera really delivers superb photos. It would take a DSLR worth thousands of $'s to really notice the difference in most shots. If anything, it would take a DSLR with an expensive low aperture prime lens to match this camera's capability in low light & night conditions.
If you get your subject distance right, you also get excellent shallow depth of field effects which means the subject in focus is super sharp and jumps out from the background which is given… Read more
