Lurch Spirali 10203 Green / Cream by Lurch
5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous!, 6 July 2014
Absolutely brilliant, I've used it so much already. At the moment, if it stays still, I try to Spiralize it!

A Dinner in Bellagio by Carlotta Melzi d'Este
1.0 out of 5 stars Indescribably awful!, 21 April 2014
This book is badly written, badly translated, and utterly boring! As a fan of cooking and the Italian lakes, I bought it for those two aspects, and was surprised to read the S&M content. However, I ploughed on, and wasted even more of my time. The passages are repetitive and, if that's S&M, I'm well out of it. Surely, any well written book should spark the reader's interest?
The translation is very poor as well and, the final insult, the recipes aren't that great.
Save your money and steer clear of this book. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
DK Eyewitness Top 10 Travel Guide: Malta & Gozo by Mary-Ann Gallagher

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 7 Nov 2013
We were very disappointed with this book. We even wondered whether the author has visited Malta recently, because of the factual inaccuracies. As an example, the 2013 edition refers to the beautiful old buses, but these had been replaced before our last visit, in 2011.

Any short guide will have its limitations, but we found the amount of duplication and lack of detail quite frustrating. In our opinion it would be better to buy a more detailed book, even if it is a little bigger. Alternatively, do your own research on the internet - it's what we did in the end, anyway.

Having always been fans of DK books, this one just isn't up to the usual standard.
