Down the wobely path that the GU series has become to be they have finally been able to get the man in who should have done one a long time ago! Always consistent, always uplifting, always able to put a smile on my face, Carl Cox delivers the goods and takes the brand in the right direction. Not as good as let's say, the sounds of the ultimate base or 2nd session, but he def. puts GU back on track and brings the kick back in the series. Now, who is next?
As a teenager I remember I thoroughly enjoyed this. Relentless and full of youthful testosteron and ignorance Eddy confirms each and everyones insecurities so common for the young market he targets, and he had me in stitches.
Now, many years later I found myself watching the show again and wondering what he would tell his kids when they accidentally come across this show.
Even though the show is mostly demeaning towards women, as a man I feel somewhat offended as well. Every man cheats? Is that what he said? We all do it and we have to do it?

Five years on and still sounds laughingly fresh. Vocals, melodies, rythms, samples, all produced to extreme perfection. Simon Posford, as with his Shpongle and along the likes of OTT, delivered yet again an instant classic. Pure ear candy addictively finding it's way into my system regularly for many years now.
