well, it's been a long time coming but it's finally here, RZA's new album featuring MCs from across europe: the World According to RZA.
first things first, what is the point of this album? the point is that RZA wants to break the language barrier of hiphop and show the growth that hiphop has made, that people all over the world rap and that hiphop music is universal; to spread the music through different regions and languages. he succeeds.
musically, the album is excellent. he shows different sides of himself through the music, he makes songs we didn't think he could make. this isn't just hiphop, it's just music. soul, rnb, typical rap tracks, he has rappers on here alongside… Read more

Gza has always been one of hiphops greatest lyracists. when he came into the game in 1991 with his debut (words from the genius) he had a flow and level of lyricism that was on a par with the greats of the era (krsone, rakim, etc). unfortunatley for him, label politics prevented his album from selling well and he went back to the drawing board. with cousins RZA and ODB he founded what was later to become the Wu-Tang Clan which kickstarted his career and brought him recognition and respect that he felt he always deserved. in 1995 he released the critically acclaimed classic album 'Liquid Swordz' which cemented his position as one of the best MCs in the game, and although his third release… Read more
