For its size and price point, this speaker provides very good performance. As with anything electronic, I think you really have to temper your expectations with the intended use. Bullets: Easy to install, faster than usb 2.0 adapters

This adapter was easy to install for the Win 7 Pro, Mac OS X 10.7.5 and Samsung Chrome laptops that I tried it with. They all just connected after a few moments, self-installed its drivers under each 3 of these OSs. Speed is good, all laptops were able to negotiate a full 1000base-T connections to various Dell, Netgear and Cisco switches, which is better than Apple's own usb ethernet adapter, which only connects up to 100Mb/s. I've had my share of matte screen protectors before, and many of them left a lot to be desired. Most of the cheap ones on early non-retina devices such as the iphone 3GS or ipad 1made the screen more blurry and harder to read. In that respect, the only thing that was gained was the fact that the screen needed to be cleaned less as dirt and fingerprints wouldn't show up much.
