BT Dual-Band Wi-Fi Extender 600 by BT

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good., 15 Mar 2014
Not much to say, really, except that it worked exactly as described and took all of two minutes to set up. I have to say I was a bit suspicious, having had all sorts of issues with the last Wi-Fi extender I owned. Really pleased with this one, though. The only thing that I would say is that it's worth re-booting your device once it's installed. A bit pricey, perhaps, but well worth the money.
Tiger Deluxe Tripod Mic Stand by Tiger Music

I really can't see how the stand I received could ever be used for anything other than a toy. The quick release lever (a good idea, on the face of it) employs an internal spring in the main body of the stand. Trouble is, this spring vibrates against the inside of the pole at the slightest touch or vibration, transmitting a tinny "ring" through the mike. Totally unsuitable for any serious user.
VisioSound Microphone Stand Thread Adaptor - Mic C&hellip by VisioSound

Who on earth would write a review about one of these?! Anyone who wanted a small but important piece of kit and was sadly disappointed, actually. For me, it's barely useable. It has notches cut in both ends so that a coin or other similarly sized object can be used to unscrew the adapter from a mic stand fitting or whatever else it's been screwed into. Trouble is, the notches are barely big enough to accommodate even a 5p piece, which I use as a screwdriver when I'm assembling or dismantling working with sound kit. It makes it very fiddly and sometimes almost impossible to fit (or unfit) these adapters quickly. Just because they're small and cheap shouldn't make them unusable. Disappointed.
